Would Your Reading Group Like to Talk to Anne

Dear Readers:

“We read to know we are not alone.” - C. S. Lewis

Lewis has it exactly right. We read (and write) to forge connections. One of the delights of being a published author has been the opportunity to connect with you readers who are an invaluable part of the collaboration and a huge reason for the success of my books.

I have enjoyed our conversations, both the ones we’ve had in person and our visits by “speaker phone.”

I have rich memories of pot luck suppers, wine and cheese evenings, breakfasts at local coffee shops, and teas, as well as of conversations centered on writing, reading, philosophy, politics, the joys and trials of raising children and chickens, the lessons of grief, and the heartaches of seeing a friend through cancer. We’ve even shared recipes. (The Buckingham Bookies from Doylestown, PA have a killer recipe for sweet and sour meatballs.)

I look forward to visiting with your club.
