Anne has been invited to be part of the White Light Festival at the Lincoln Center in New York City. She will be part of a panel moderated by John Schaefer that will explore the uses and power of silence. The event is on Saturday, October 30 from 2-3:30 PM in Manhattan. Inspired by "Listening Below the NoIse," colleagues and faculty of the Ashland Institute in Ashland, Oregon, have launched "The Silence Initiative." At last count, they have sent more than 200 copies of the book to women around the globe, inviting them to join them in setting aside the last Sunday of each month to observe silence. FEBRUARY 10 PUBLICATION DATE FOR THE PAPERBACK EDITION OF "Listening Below the Noise"
"Listening Below the Noise: The Transformative Power of Silence" will be published in paperback on February 10, 2010 by HarperCollins. Anne is available to present workshops on Silence and how it can restore and rejuvenate us and enhance our lives to book clubs, churches, schools and universities, Buddhist centers, women's groups, retreats, book stores and libraries.
Ragdale Foundation Fellow
Anne is honored to be named a Distinguished Fellow of the Ragdale Foundation, Lake Forest, Illinois.
